If I could sell gold and become rich
I sometimes dream of an alternative life I could live. I imagine I"m a millionaire living somewhere in the United States or Egypt. I would have a huge house near the desert where I could go on trips sometimes. Or perhaps I would live near the sea and go swimming and surfing every day. I wouldn"t have to work, of course, but I could do some volunteer job to help the poor. I could buy and sell gold and silver jewellery and earn even more money. I could trade platinum too. They"re worth incredible amounts of money today, so I wouldn"t have to worry about money till the end of my life. If I were lucky enough, I would inherit some precious metal from an unknown relative from the other end of the world. Well, these are only stupid dreams, of course. I will never be able to buy an expensive villa or sell gold. But why not forget your boring life, full of troubles and obstacles, and make up a fable about yourself sometimes? It helps you relax and laugh at your worries. If I were that rich, I would probably dream of something much more important I could never have. Perhaps I would be a very lonely person. Maybe I would lose all my friends. They might become envious or they might feel I"ve become impossible to talk to. I prefer to be me and work hard every day, I suppose.
